MedAware was founded following a tragic event when a nine-year-old boy died simply because his provider ordered the wrong drug, and unfortunately, the mistake wasn’t caught. This was not due to bad judgment on the side of the provider, but rather simple human error.
With the understanding that the available technologies and tools failed to save this boy, a team of physician-scientists and machine learning experts set out to develop a safety net to prevent similar tragedies from occurring. From that, MedAware was born.
