Escalating Our Potential to Save Lives

We’re excited to announce that we have recently received approval for MedAware’s second year funding from the Israel Innovation Authority.
Among the four billion prescriptions filled every year in the U.S., it is estimated that over seven million are incorrect, resulting in thousands of deaths, over one million injuries, and nearly $21B in preventable healthcare costs. The Israeli government’s support validates the value of MedAware’s game-changing medication surveillance solutions, as well as our technological progress, roadmap and market potential to combat this serious issue.
With this additional funding, we will continue to scale our unique approach to eradicating prescription-related medication errors, saving patient lives every day. In particular, this grant will allow us to develop additional machine learning-enabled decision support solutions and make ongoing product enhancements to cover added types of catastrophic errors.
Improving patient safety and preventing lethal prescription errors is at the heart of our company mission. As we expand our technology offerings, we will ultimately be able to save more lives. We are excited to continue to grow our efforts with the strong backing of institutions like the Israel Innovation Authority.
